* Wanda G‡g and the ŅYoungstersÓ

A Family Biography by Flavia G‡g

60-min DVD     ages 12-Adult

with study guide

$26.00 plus $3 handling

*  Originally titled ŅFlavia G‡g: Renaissance WomanÓ, this autobiographical work by Flavia was edited from her manuscripts, letters, and diaries to give a broader glimpse into the lives of her talented brother and sisters as well, particularly an overview of the life and career of her most famous sibling, Wanda G‡g. Flavia was WandaÕs multi-talented youngest sister Š a fiction author, biographer, fine artist, illustrator and composer.

*  Tells what happened to the members of the unique, creative G‡g family after all but Stella moved to the east coast. Fosters an appreciation for their German-Bohemian heritage in New Ulm, Minnesota, that serves as background for FlaviaÕs artistic style.

*  For a word-by-word reading of FlaviaÕs unpublished manuscript, see also OxCartÕs CD audio book Inky Mouse: The Story of Wanda G‡g from which much of the script for this DVD was taken. The only parts of FlaviaÕs manuscript that are omitted on the CD are sections from WandaÕs own autobiography, Growing Pains.
